If applying as a Special Analysis Center, describe the special
type(s) of analysis you will perform. If applying as a Global
Analysis Center, describe the global analysis you will perform.
Indicate your specific analysis interests and describe how you
select the data you analyze. Due to limited resources we plan to,
gradually over the next few years, establish a database of VLBI,
GPS, and SLR observations, residuals, partial derivatives, and
arc-by-arc state vectors and covariances estimated on the basis
of a combination of VLBI, GPS and SLR data at the observation
level. The arc-by-arc state vectors and covariances will be
combined into a multi-year solution. The state vectors will
include station coordinates and velocities for some selected
multi-technique stations in addition to Earth orientation
parameters and other geophysical and geodynamical parameters. Our
first contributions will primarily be based on some selected
high-quality datasets. We will especially focus on the
establishment of consistent observation models for all three
techniques.

as IVS Associate Members through their affiliation with your
analysis center. None

Please provide any other information that you feel will be
helpful in demonstrating your analysis center's capabilities to
participate in the IVS. If you proposed to the IERS in 1995/6 as
an analysis center and wish to have that proposal carry over to
the IVS, please make such a statement in this proposal. FFI
proposed to the IERS in 1995/6 as a Scientific Analysis Center
and as a Technical Development Center and wishes to have that
proposal carry over to the IVS. According to the original
proposal Statens kartverk (SK) wished to participate in the
project with two scientists, each working 50 % on the project. SK
has so far not contributed to the project due to capacity
problems. It is uncertain what will be the situation for SK in
the future and we therefore do not expect any contributions from
SK in the near future. The consequence is that water vapor
radiometry data, gravimetry data and VLBI phase delay data will
not be included in the combined analyses. However, if the
situation should change at SK, we will certainly include SK in
the project and notify the IVS. Prof. Kaare Aksnes has resigned
from the consultant position (20 %) he had at FFI and will
therefore not be directly involved in the IVS project in the
future. It is our intention to bring new students into the IVS
project.

with the IVS Analysis Coordinator. If this is a new proposal
(i.e. not carried over from IERS) your signature commits your
organization to participate in the IVS.
