Describe any planned facility upgrades. New version of S2
correlator 32Mbps   2 channels   6 stations is planned for opera
tion in 1999.

     Receive, process, and archive VLBI data Yes. Receive S2 Mark
III mode tapes. Processing in
the regime 4Mbps   28 channels   3 stations. Archive data on CD-
ROMs
     Provide timely feedback to stations Yes.
     Maintain community tape pool Yes. S2 tape pool.
     Make data available to the Analysis Centers Yes. Data in the
FITS format are available to the IAA Analysis Center.
     Compare processing techniques, models, and outputs Yes. We
have experience of comparison between IAA S2, ATNF, and Block II
correlators (processing technique, models, output) using observa
tions on 18 cm made during "Bear Lakes   Tidbinbilla" experiment
June 29-30, 1996.

the IVS. If you proposed to the IERS in 1995/6 as a correlator
facility and wish to have that proposal carry over to the IVS,
please make such a statement in this proposal. 

We also have mobile Mark III correlator for real time testing of
station equipment.

Your signature on this form indicates your agreement to partici
pate in the IVS as a Correlator and to cooperate with the IVS Co
ordinating Center and with the IVS Coordinators. If this is a new
proposal (i.e. not carried over from IERS) your signature commits
your organization to participate in the IVS.
