Explain briefly how you propose to perform each of the following duties of the
Technology Coordinator:
     Stimulate advancement of the VLBI technique
     Maintain cognizance of all current VLBI technologies and development
     Coordinate development of new technology
     Promulgate new technologies
     Ensure compatibility of VLBI data acquisition systems

Describe how you propose to do the following:
     Coordinate the IVS technology development activities
     Work with the geodetic and astronomical communities
     Work closely with the IVS Coordinating Center 

Please provide any other information that you feel will be helpful in
demonstrating your capabilities to participate in the IVS as its Technology
Coordinator.

Will the proposed Technology Coordinator be able to attend the
initial IVS Directing Board meeting at Wettzell on 11 February 1999?

sponsor the IVS Technology Coordinator. This form should also be signed by the
proposed Technology Coordinator, committing himself/herself to participate in
the IVS as the Technology Coordinator, to support the IVS Technology
Development Centers, and to work closely with the IVS Coordinating Center.
