Citation Instructions

If you use any IVS products or data in a publication or public talk, please include a statement similar to the following:

"This research has made use of [name of solution or data set] dated [applicable date] provided by the International VLBI Service for Geodesy and Astrometry."

The formal reference for inclusion in papers should refer to the solution identifier and the year and should cite the IVS web site. For example, the reference might be:

" ... used the terrestrial reference frame of <solution identifier> (IVS, <year>) ... "

and then the citation should be:

IVS: International VLBI Service products available electronically at http://ivscc.gsfc.nasa.gov/service/products <year>
