Data & Products
Products
IVS provides the following products:
All products are generated by individual Analysis Centers and are available on the product pages linked below. The IVS Analysis Coordinator's office generates a combined IVS product for the session Earth Orientation Parameters series (EOPS); this official product is available on the EOPS page.
More information about how products are generated can be found in the analysis section.
If you use any IVS products in a research project, please refer to the citation instructions.
Files for each product may be found on the product pages linked below. Each page has links to
current solution files and solution descriptions found on the selected
Data Center. The three primary Data Centers are
BKG (Germany), CDDIS (USA), and OPAR (France). These Data Centers mirror each other several times daily
so that holdings are consistent.
Intensive Earth Orientation Parameter Series (EOP-I)
The Intensive Series EOP product is a series of EOP results, one for
each UT1 Intensive session. Each series includes a minimum of one year
of data. The operational EOP-I product is available on the IVS Data
Centers 24 hours after the Intensive data base becomes available.

Session Earth Orientation Parameter Series (EOP-S)
The Session Series EOP product is a series of EOP results, one for
each geodetic session. Data are irregularly spaced and there are multiple
results for days on which there were simultaneous sessions. Each series
includes a minimum of one year of results. The operational EOP-S product
is available on the IVS Data Centers 24 hours after availability of
each new session data base.

Terrestrial Reference System (TRF)
The Terrestrial Reference Frame product consists of a set of station
positions, velocities, and correlations. A minimum of three years of
data is used in each solution. The TRF operational product is available
on the IVS Data Centers approximately quarterly.

Celestial Reference System (CRF)
The Celestial Reference Frame product consists of updates to the ICRF.
Analysis Centers contribute CRF solutions made in a manner compatible
with IERS TN 23. CRF products are available on an irregular time schedule.

Daily Intensive Solution Files (DSNI)
The daily Intensive solution files in SINEX format are analysis products that
are mainly designed for combination, for both within the IVS and with other
space techniques, since they contain datum-free normal equations (decomposed
normal equations). Secondly, they allow to estimate UT1 for each 1-hour Intensive
session applying a selected datum. Thirdly, the files contain estimates for all
parameters (site positions, polar motion, UT1-TAI, and LOD), but these parameters,
except UT1-TAI, have been tightly constrained to a priori values. The files are in
SINEX format providing also the covariance matrix of the estimates. The SINEX product
files are available on the same frequency as the EOP-I products: 24 hours after each
new session data base is available.

Daily Solution Files (DSNX)
The daily solution files are an analysis product that provides estimates
of Earth orientation and site positions for each 24-hour session, the
covariance matrix of the estimates, and decomposed normal equations.
The solution files are in SINEX format. The SINEX product files are
available on the same frequency as the EOP-S products: 24 hours after
each new session data base is available.

Tropospheric Parameters (TROP)
The tropospheric parameters product includes total and wet zenith
path delays and the meteorological data for IVS stations. The product
is available in a series of weekly files with tropospheric results
derived from all IVS-R1 and IVS-R4 sessions (submission directory).
The station-wise files are stored in weekly directories following the
GPS week numbers. Long-term files are stored in the directory long_term
which, in turn, is subdivided into folders for the contributing analysis centers.
The operational product is available on the IVS Data Centers one month
after availability of each new session data base. The tropospheric parameters product includes
total and wet zenith path delays and the meteorological data
for IVS stations participating in the weekly IVS-R1 and IVS-R4 sessions.
The results are available in a series of weekly files with
combined tropospheric estimates derived from all IVS-R1 and
IVS-R4 sessions since January 2002. Until June 2003 the files were created in the
IVS Pilot Project phase, whereas starting with July 2003 the combined tropospheric
estimates are regular IVS products. The combined troposphere products are produced
at the GFZ Potsdam tropophere combination center.

Time Series of Baseline Lengths
The Time Series of Baseline Lengths product consists of downloadable baseline length results,
including graphs and statistics, for a chosen baseline. At the
BKG/DGFI Combination Center,
an interactive service allows the user to select the two end stations of a baseline of interest.
An automatic script computes the requested information online from the submissions of the six
participating Analysis Centers as well as a combinded solution. The data, residual, and plot
files for all seven time series can then be downloaded for further analysis.
