2013 December 18 The December issue of the IVS Newsletter was posted on the Web site and the print version will be sent to the IVS mailing list in the next days. This issue features the new VGOS stations at Hartebeesthoek (funded) and Yebes (inaugurated).
2013 December 17 The Call for 2013 Annual Report was posted.
2013 August 9 The 2012 Annual Report was posted on the Web site. The report is being printed and will be mailed to IVS Associate Members and Corresponding Members in the next few weeks.
2013 August 6 The August issue of the IVS Newsletter was posted on the Web site and the print version will be sent to the IVS mailing list in the next days. The main feature in this issue is about the BKG/DGFI Combination Center.
2013 June 14 The 8th IVS General Meeting will be held during the week of March 2-7, 2014, in Shanghai, China. The meeting will be held under the theme of "VGOS: The New VLBI Network". All IVS Associate Members and individuals who have interests in the application of VLBI in the fields of geodesy, Earth sciences, and astrometry are invited to attend the meeting.
2013 April 24 The April issue of the IVS Newsletter was posted on the Web site and the print version will be sent to the IVS mailing list in the next days. The main feature in this issue is an interview with the new IVS Chair Axel Nothnagel.
2013 March 28 The Web version of the Proceedings from the 2012 General Meeting held in Madrid, Spain is now available. The print version of the publication will be mailed to meeting attendees in the next several weeks. If you did not attend the meeting and would like a copy of the book, please contact the Coordinating Center. There will be a limited number of extra copies available.
2013 March 21 At its meeting in Helsinki, Finland on March 8, the new Board elected Axel Nothnagel from the University of Bonn, Germany to be the new IVS Chair. Axel Nothnagel succeeds Harald Schuh from Vienna University of Technology, Austria (now with GeoForschungsZentrum Potsdam, Germany), who ended his six-year chairmanship of the Board. Harald Schuh continues to be the IAG Representative on the Board.
2013 February 6 The results of the at-large elections for the IVS Directing Board are: Alexander Ipatov (IAA, Russia), Shinobu Kurihara (GSI, Japan), and Fengchun Shu (SHAO, China).
